Smart Gas Utilities Ltd was founded by Jim Lamb in 2010. Jim has worked in the gas industry for over 40 years and is directly involved with the company’s day to day activities.

We have a team of Gas Safe Registered engineers covering the whole of the country, installing and maintaining gas meters on behalf of independent gas transporters such as GTC and ES Pipelines.

Smart Gas Utilities is an Ofgem Approved Meter Installer (OAMI) and holds qualifications to perform meter installs and exchanges on both low and medium pressure sites. We are also an Industrial Affiliate of IGEM.

We assist network owners in recovery of their assets, producing relevant paperwork, i.e. service cards, mains certificates and laid drawings to support indemnity.

We utilise a range of specialist equipment depending on the nature of the site and the information requiring recovery.
